Because everyone deserves to be heard...Cabrini Ministry trains people to listen and to bring the compassionate presence of Christ to those who are isolated or afflicted.
Our mission statement:
Cabrini Ministry Training forms Christians in the Catholic Tradition for compassionate pastoral service in our community to bring Christ's healing presence to God's people.
Cabrini Ministry Training invites you to
Bring Mercy.
Be Present. Change Lives.
When you enroll in Cabrini Ministry Training, you will experience the gift of mercy from your teachers and fellow students in a way you never have before. You will be transformed and it will change your life.
You will learn the techniques necessary to share that mercy with others, to offer them the gift of your genuine, compassionate presence, and that will, in turn, change their lives
Our Training offers a unique, in-depth formation program in which students become immersed in the experience of giving and receiving pastoral care. We employ proven adult-learning practices that make our training program a truly transformational experience.
Students gain:
- a deep understanding of what it means to journey compassionately with another person
- the tools needed to communicate God's love and mercy to others
- a knowlege of best-practices for ministering to special populations, particularly individuals who are homebound, hospitalized, elderly, sick, or dying.
Registration is now underway for our Fall 2016 Training Programs!
