FROM
THE NORTH: From I-5 take the
Columbia/James Street
exit. At the first traffic light, turn left onto
Cherry Street
, turning immediately into the far right lane. If you miss the Cherry traffic
light, you can follow the same directions at the next light and go up the hill
on
James Street
. Continue heading east up the hill for 4 blocks to Terry and turn left onto
Terry Avenue heading north Continue north for one block (or two from James) to
Columbia Street. Cathedral Place is the pale yellow brick building on the NW
corner of this intersection.
FROM
THE SOUTH: From I-5 take the
James/Madison/Dearborn exit. Follow the distributor lanes to
James Street
. At the light turn right onto
James Street
heading east. Continue 3 blocks to
Terry Avenue
and turn left heading north on Terry for two blocks to
Columbia Street
. Cathedral Place is the pale yellow brick building on the NW corner of this
intersection.
PARKING:
There is parking on the streets
but please notice the parking limits posted. Some of the street parking is
metered also with a 2 hour limit. There are parking garages at
Cabrini
Tower
, entrance from
Marion St.
just west of
Boren Ave.
, and also at
Swedish
Hospital
, entrance from
Marion
just west of
Boren Ave.
On weekends and evenings there is free parking in the O’Dea high school lot
behind the school building and just west of Boren between Columbia and Marion
and in the two Chancery lots on the west side of 9th Ave at the corners just
north and south of Columbia. Please do
not park in any of the O’Dea lot places marked in red: RESERVED
FOR SAINT JAMES CATHEDRAL STAFF.
